Two-time national champ Billy Donovan has been selected to serve as a court coach during Team USA’s Under-19 tryout camp this month. In Colorado Springs he’ll be working with 21 players including Gators Scottie Wilbekin and Patric Young.
“I’m excited to work with this group of talented players from all over the country, including a couple of Gators,” Donovan said. “USA Basketball has done a great job assembling this team and I look forward to contributing to their preparations for the U19 World Championship.”
Former Georgia Tech and new George Mason coach Paul Hewitt will serve as the team’s head coach during the World Championship.
