MSU’s Thames Dismissed From Football Team

Reserve safety Dennis Thames has been dismissed from Mississippi State’s football team according to Dan Mullen. No reason was given for the dismissal, but Mullen tell The Jackson Clarion-Ledger that “this was not a first-time violation” (in the paper’s words).

The redshirt sophomore was listed as the backup strong safety on State’s spring depth chart.
