Agreed. Eleventybillion fans screaming in the swamp, death valley, neyland, and to a much lesser extent… those rednecks at bryant-denny ; make more noise than the 50k cowbells at MSU.

What a stupid rule. It's called homefield advantage. I'm an LSU guy, and I shudder to think of all the things we've done to distract visiting teams over the years. All you have to do to quiet the bells is play well.

It has been obvious that MSU fans can not distinguish between stoppages in play ( timeouts, halftime and after scoring plays which are within the rules) and ringing the bells in between every down (which is not within the rules). Ringing the bell until the ball is snapped is not acceptable and MSU should be forced to get rid of the bells or be fined into oblivion.
