1. Here’s a projection of which newcomers in the SEC West will have the biggest impact.

2. Former Georgia defensive ends coach Jon Fabris is now coaching the D-line at Northwest Mississippi Community College. (That will no doubt prompt many UGA fans to say, “See, he never should have been here in the first place.”)

3. Kentucky has scheduled a three-game series in basketball against Samford.
