1. New Florida offensive coordinator Charlie Weis has bought a 10.5 acre horse farm south of Gainesville. (Looks like he’s planning to stay for a while.)

2. Most coaches try to let their players enjoy Twitter and Facebook. (And most coaches are, therefore, asking for trouble.)

3. Georgia associate AD Frank Crumley says the Tennessee job would surely interest him.

4. John Calipari’s Haitian relief telethon is up for a regional Emmy award.
