Coaching at Vanderbilt is a tough enough job without having to worry about “selling” the program to fans and recruits. But that’s just what new Commodore football coach James Franklin is having to do in Nashville. And so far, he’s been having pretty good success.
Franklin told ESPN.com’s Chris Low:
“As the head coach at Vanderbilt, I’ve got to wear a lot more hats than a coach at a more established program. …
I think people are understanding our message and where we want to take this program, and they want to be a part of it. We have a great product to sell.”
