Brantley: Guys Aren’t Getting Away With As Much At UF

Speaking to ESPN, Florida quarterback John Brantley let loose with the first possible zinger of SEC Media Days 2011. Asked what Will Muschamp has brought to the Gator program, Brantley said:

“He brought in a lot of intensity. There’s a lot of discipline now. Guys aren’t getting away with some of the stuff, but, uh, he’s making it fun. He’s making it easy to learn and making the transition very easy for us.”

Yowsa. Obviously Brantley wasn’t happy in Urban Meyer’s spread offense and that has to be factored into his comments. Still, he certainly seems to be saying that the inmates no longer run the asylum down in Gainesville.
