This morning we linked you to the latest T-Town Menswear photo dump from SportsByBrooks.com. That site’s photos of Julio Jones — then an Alabama player — signing a jersey (with a stack of other jerseys nearby) has led OutkickTheCoverage.com to release a few more photos, too.
It seems someone took photos of Jones in Tom Al Betar’s office at T-Town Menswear. One shows Jones with a college-age girl on his lap and Al Betar smiling happily to his left. (Al Betar’s name has been spelled Albetar, Al-Betar and Al Betar on various sites… we’re going with the latter.)
Is it against NCAA rules for a player to be in the office of a business owner? No. But we all know how this looks. After all, Al Betar was later disassociated from the Crimson Tide program for some reason. So here was a Tide star sitting in the office of a man who would eventually be barred from UA’s program.
Go ahead and add this to the pile of circumstantial evidence that’s already leading to a Bama conviction in the court of public opinion.
Meanwhile, we await the next photos to appear in three… two… one…

I seem to recall getting ugly emails from Auburn fans when we covered Scott Moore's repeated claims. We're covering this story as we did that one. Until someone shows us proof that cash or clothing changed hands, we're not buying.
But SEC fans are talking about the topic -- like Moore's claims -- and that makes it "news." So we cover it.
Thanks for reading the site,
John
Keep it up. I love seeing the bamers squirm and saban lying his way deeper and deeper in elephant doo
Thanks John for your site that gives us a place to start for the latest news.. Appreciate it.. Let the Eagle Soarrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! uat red elephants can't fly....
John-
was ANOTHER article on this necessary? What did we learn from these new photos we hadn't already learned in the last week?
In your other articles on the subject you seemed to have something to say... this time you just posted another link to Clay's site
Are you gonna put up a story for every facebook photo this guy can find of a Bama player in a store or signing an autograph? If so this site will quickly join the ranks of SbB & OTKC
and what exactly about that photo is a violation?
just saying, I thought your article on the subject this morning was plenty... this latest one is pretty weak and I'm not sure why you thought that pic deserved an entire new article
sorry to criticize, love the site anyway
just curious...
We cover the news of the SEC. When somebody posts new photos on this story -- now showing one of Bama's players hanging out with the owner in a backroom of the store -- it's our job to let you know about it.
We don't like scandals, we think they're bad for the league. We've made that abundantly clear. But we do cover SEC news. Like it or not, this is news.
As for what is a violation in that photo? Nothing. As we stated clearly in the post.
John
John,
do you think OKTC compiled all of the photos at once and is slowly releasing them to increase coverage, or are these photos coming in as the post?
B Roberts...
Not sure. It wouldn't surprise me if they hadn't decided early on to slowly leak the pictures day after day to drum up more traffic.
On the other hand, to do so would risk other sites posting similar photos before them... stealing their thunder.
So I'm just not sure.
John
def doing it on purpose
these articles are coming out like clockwork every 6-12 hours
even if there is no new story, he at least puts up a new photo and then relinks all 12 other stories he's done in the last week
