    SEC Headlines – 7/14/11 Part Three

    1.  Is Alabama deep enough on offense.

    2.  Booted running back Eric Smith still hopes to return to the Auburn football team.

    3.  Ole Miss’ chancellor and Mississippi State’s football coach played nice during a charity golf event yesterday.

    4.  This writer believes State’s decision to play football games in 14 days could be its undoing this fall. 

    5.  The MSU basketball team is showing increased intensity during summer workouts.

    6.  What are the motivations for the SEC and Big Ten when it comes to pushing player pay?  (Uh, how ’bout they afford to do it while others can’t?)

    7.  The NCAA will announce its findings from an investigation in Georgia Tech football this afternoon.  Why is that SEC news?  Because Tech AD Dan Radakovich is believed to be a strong candidate at Tennessee… a school with its own NCAA worries.
