Auburn’s Gonna Be Young… Real Young

By now, everyone knows that Auburn has lost a boatload of starters from last year’s BCS title team including its best players on offense and defense. And that best player on offense might have been the best player on offense in the history of the Southeastern Conference.

But Charles Goldberg of Al.com sums up just how young Auburn will be in an article posted this morning:

“(Gene) Chizik must replace 18 starters from last year’s national championship team. He’s not babysitting a team in which 54 percent of the players on the 105-man roster are either freshmen or redshirt freshmen.”

Now that’s young.
