Running back I’Tavius Mathers from Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn., has committed to Ole Miss.
“They just made me feel like I was at home,” Mathers told The Tennessean.
Mathers could have chosen Kentucky, South Carolina and Virginia. Other schools to offer included Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Clemson, according to The Tennessean.
Mathers hadn’t planned to commit before the start of his senior season. That plan changed after he visited Ole Miss.
“It was a pretty tough decision,” Mathers said. “I want to focus on the season now.”
