    SEC Headlines – 8/22/11 Part Three

    1.  Jerico Nelson is valuable to Arkansas… either as a linebacker or a safety.

    2.  This writer says it’s 50/50 as to whether or not the Hogs will have a 1,000-yard rusher this fall.

    3.  The Razorbacks’ receiving corps is loaded with talent.

    4.  An interesting headline considering LSU’s recent off-field woes: “LSU defensive end Sam Montgomery back with vengeance.”

    5.  John Chavis says that “by the time he’s done, Barkevious Mingo will be the premier pass rusher in the SEC — bar none.”

    6.  Here’s a recap of LSU’s extremely rocky offseason.

    7.  MSU placekicker Derek DePasquale has ceded kickoff duties to transfer Brian Egan: “The kid has got a golden foot.”
