I bet you're sick of guys like UGA's president Michael Adams and former player Justin Houston setting up strawmen, too.

If the UGA team is coached up like they were last week against SC, there is not a lot of reason, to want to get rid of CMR. Bobo though is another question. I just don't think he is DIV. I material and I hope if CMR is here for the future that he finds another OC. The verdict is still out on the DC, but I would like to see him adjust to the game a little better. I do believe that UGA does have a pretty bright future to come if they cut down on mistakes and play like they showed they were capable of doing, against the likes of a team like SC. One mistake less last week, and we are probably talking about a 1-1 UGA team, heading into an easy game this week.

I think the thing that sticks out most to me about Richt is that only 2 of his assistants have gone on to get head coaching jobs. Van Gorder left for Ga Southern (was there one year) and then went to the pros. Neil Callaway went to UAB. Thats it as far as I know of. How many times have schools courted Mike Bobo? Richt had to fire the DC before they paid an NFL guy 800K. I think Richt is still a fine coach, but I think his staff has underperformed. Compare that to Urban Meyer who had 5 guys leave his staff to take head jobs (Holliday, Strong, Mullen, McCarney, Addazio) and another take a job with the ravens (mattison).

Maybe Spurrier is right, 10 or 12 years is about right these days. After that things kind of went stale. Richt is doing the same things he did 9 years ago, he is the same coach, things have just changed. If he were to leave, I'd imagine the school he landed at would be pretty good, pretty quickly. sometimes, you just need a change of scenery.

HOLY CRAP A REASONED ARGUMENT FOR KEEPING BOBO.

Why do people always think that they can just magically find that ONE GUY who will get them to a Natty, especially after like one or two loosing seasons?

I guess everyone wants to be Florida under Spurrier or Bama under the Bear. It's so rare but people don't seem to be willing to accept that, at least in the SEC.
