The University of Tennessee's compliance office's only job is to make sure boosters, coaches and players follow NCAA rules. Did they do their job? No. Should they be punished? Yes.

They didn't "allow" him to purposefully break the rules. Kiffin/Garza should be punished, not UT. The UT self-imposed penalties from the previous investigation will be enough. The NCAA is hot after kiffins trail. UT has nothing to worry about. At the worst maybe some recruiting restrictions, that's it. Kiffin should be the one worried.

Tennessee has been punished for the Kiffin hire, A million times. Dooley is saying why punish him "his program'. NCAA, go get Kiffin and kick his butt out of football.

‘Let’s target the people that make these mistakes, not the programs.’ is total BS. First, they are not 'mistakes'. They are willful violations of NCAA rules, major violations. Second, the people are employed by, and cheating for, the benefit of the PROGRAMS.

Tennessee is responsible for who it hires and for allowing them to purposefully break the rules.
