Alabama-LSU will be the eighth matchup of Top Five SEC clubs since the turn of the century. 

Unlike the Big Ten and Pac-12 which have so often been dominated by Ohio State or Southern Cal, the SEC has regularly featured two of America’s five best squads in a given year.
