I agree. I live in Charlotte and would look foward to driving to Columbia for a South Carolina/West Virginia game. South Carolina/Missouri does not interest me.
Pudge, it Mizzou goes to the SEC, WVU will get an invite to the B12. WVU will win no matter what.
An invite to the Big 12 is a win? Sorry but as a long time MU fan I can't agree with that. There are very definite reasons Nebraska, Colorado, Texas A&M and Missouri wanted out and those reason are still in the room and nothing has changed.
If Missouri does jump to the SEC and WVU gets an invite to the Big 12 I do wish them luck. They don't deserve the dysfunctional Big 12 and would probably be better off trying to stay in the Big East and talking Louisville and others into staying. Maybe in a few years the SEC goes to 16 teams and wants them and they're locked into a conference where they have given up their TV rights for 6 years to it.

It doesn’t appear there will be any official word today regarding Missouri’s possible plans to leave the Big 12 for the SEC. Warren Erdman — the chairman of MU’s board of curators — told The Kansas City Star this afternoon that he would not talk about any sort of timeline for a conference realignment decision
