1. Florida is targeting the junior college ranks for immediate help in 2012.

2. Georgia is trying to land a visit from defensive end Raphael Kirby, who’s still committed to Miami.

3. Defensive Francis Kallon is still committed to Georgia Tech after visiting Auburn.

4. Defensive back Jordan Diggs had a favorable review of his recent trip to Vanderbilt.

5. Here’s a list of the top 50 prospects in Broward County for 2012 and the latest on their recruitment.

6. 2013 running back Michael Parker has already picked up offers from SEC and ACC schools.

7. 2013 wide receiver Ryan Jenkins will attend the Alabama-Tennessee game in Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

8. Clemson received a commitment from defensive end Josh Brown, who received interest from Kentucky.
