Basketball Star Goodwin Chooses Memphis

Basketball forward prospect Shaq Goodwin from Southwest Dekalb High School in Decatur, Ga., has committed to Memphis.

Goodwin chose Memphis over offers from Florida, Georgia, UCLA and Arizona.

Memphis is also recruiting forward Alex Poythress, who will announce his choice on Thursday. Florida, Kentucky and Vanderbilt are also in the running for Poythress.
