At the rate Martin is recruiting, he won't last. Pearl is probably the biggest name that would actually take the job. Unfortunatly Hart seems like an AD out of Doug Dickey's mold, and given the damage Dickey did to the basketball program I see Hart making a stupid hire like a Gregg Marshall, Rick Byrd. . .or a very Buzz Peterson like hire for the program. I think it may be another 26 years before Tennessee basketball matters again.

Why would anyone care what that disgraced EX-coach is doing? Will there be updates on Lane Kiffin next?

Pearl is a good guy overall and tries to do the right things. He messed up and he has accepted his fate. It is true that many still miss Pearl and is sad that he is gone, however as far as him coming back to coach at UT, I just don't believe that will happen at all. New AD Dave Hart will find his 'guy' if Coach Martin doesn't work out.
