There will never be another Larry Munson. He was loved by so many in the south, not only GA fans, but fans from other teams, too.
He just had that way of making you want to turn down your TV and put on your headphones and listen to Larry, because he made
the game twice as exciting as the TV announcers.
God Bless You Larry, May you rest in peace.

He's resting, but also worrying about the speed of Tech. And the size of LSU. And our special teams. And our pass defense, for goodness sake.

I can just vision Erk Russel head butting Larry and asking "What took you so long?" Larry had a magical voice and he wasn't there just to do play by play he really pulled for the team and felt the heart break when they lost.

I'm a Tennesse fan, but I respect greatness. People like Munson and John Ward made the game "real" for me. Sad to see him go

Larry was the greatest. Not a UGA fan but I enjoyed listening to their games because of Larry. R.I.P. Larry, you will be missed by many, many people.
