I fully admit that we are not very good right now. However the foundation is being laid to rebuild the program. I believe that we have the right administration and coaching staff to return UT to the top of the SEC.

Howdy,

Well we do shoot ourselves in the foot a lot. We've had 91 miscues and 653 offensive plays for a rating of 7.18. Hopefully we'll be improving soon.

DV80...

We're simply looking for bad plays. All five of the areas we considered "miscues" could be given values, but we focused only on how often a team costs itself... not how much it costs itself.

Thanks for reading the site,

John,

The Fife Rating concept is very interesting. I would think you might want to rate turnovers more heavily than other miscues as they tend to do more damage per occurance than the others, especially when they happen in one's own end of the field.

I'm looking to see how my Aggies compare. I might be overly critical, but it just seems like we shoot ourselves in the foot a lot.
