		<description><![CDATA[A&amp;M is #9 in the Sagarin computer rankings. If they had played eight conference games instead of nine maybe they wouldn&#039;t have a loss to a team like Oklahoma State or Kansas State. They could have found an easier non-conference game than Arkansas. Their record would then be 8-3 and A&amp;M fans would probably be a lot happier. 
 
SEC athletic directors may want to consider the effect of going to nine conference games. That would mean half the conference would lose one more game. A few more teams might not qualify for bowl games. More fans would be unhappy. I think schools would sell more tickets and receive more donations by playing an extra cupcake instead of risking a loss playing an extra conference game.
