@RockyTop18 I didn’t say Steele was a Bama guy. There’s really no such thing as a “guy” who’s just connected to one school anymore anyway. I said he used to be at Bama under Saban and it would just help solidify the trend….Dave Hart, Sal Sunseri, formerly Lance Thompson, and Dooley was a Saban assistant for many years.

I wouldn’t call it “checkmate”, because CSS is an upgrade over CLT and the game is never over. More like trading a bishop(CLT) for a rook(CSS)

Yet the UT program is healthier now than it was two years ago. I don’t know how this next year will end up. UT has the players in place to contend in the East, or come completely undone under the pressure of not being fired. Time will only tell.
