Tennessee linebacker commit Otha Peters decided to take one more official visit to Arkansas before signing day arrives on Wednesday.
The trip appears to have created more doubt in the mind of Peters, who less than two weeks ago stated he would stick with his commitment to Tennessee. He posted the following message on Facebook on Saturday night:
“In Arkansas having the time of my life.. Idk what to do now #confused”
Peters let it be known late last week that he would take his trip to Arkansas with an open mind.
“I want to look at the environment, the fans, and the players I will be around for the next four years if I choose to go to Arkansas,” Peters told HawgSports.com before his trip.
Expect the coaching staffs at both Tennessee and Arkansas to fight hard to land Peters’ signature on Wednesday.
Peters has been a valued member of Tennessee’s 2012 class since he gave his commitment to the Vols in July. Add that to the fact Tennessee doesn’t know the status of linebacker commit Dalton Santos, who is visiting Texas this weekend after receiving a scholarship offer from the Longhorns on Jan. 21.
