Linebacker Switches Commitment From Arkansas To Vanderbilt

Linebacker Jakarri Thomas from Godby High School in Tallahassee, Fla., has switched his commitment from Arkansas to Vanderbilt.
Thomas made the decision after taking an official visit to Vanderbilt last weekend.
“I looked at everything when I made the decision,” Thomas told VandySports.com. “A big part was the education. When I went on my visit to Vanderbilt, I found myself feeling as though they prepare you to be stable in life in the long-run.”
Arkansas should be fine at linebacker in the long run despite Thomas’ decision to switch his commitment.
The Razorbacks remain in the picture for several linebackers, including Vin Ascolese, Beau Hankins, Harding Harper, Reggie Northrup (Miami commit) and Otha Peters (Tennessee commit).
The Hogs stopped recruiting this young man after Coach Robinson resigned and Coach Haynes was hired. Best of luck to his career at Vandy.
