The Idaho Stateman newspaper reported last Friday that Pease “will choose between offers” from Alabama and Florida. I think you’re getting hung up on language. Both schools are talking to him. The one that gets him will say he was the only person they really wanted. The one that doesn’t get him will say they never offered — whether they did or not. Standard stuff, happens with every search.

Note the word “reportedly.” We used it for a reason.
