It was good that UT made the offer. It had to be done to appease the inmates (delusional fans) that are trying to run the program. It also shows that UT is willing to pay for top level defensive talent. That might get a little bit of attention from some people that might not have been willing to listen before. As for the Clemson last night, that has little to do with the defense. The offense turned it over three times in a row. That fumble return for TD broke the team. By the time that Clemson got over the shock, they were down 2-3 TD’s.

@oreo He was the DC at UT for 13-14 years. He was about to be run out of town when he got a better job. Now UT offers him the same job? Call back when your head coaching job is open.

That’s how I see it. I don’t see a lot of others seeing it this way, so I could easily be wrong. But I don’t know why.
