You get to chose your Basketball rivals I want Ole Miss, Auburn, LSU, Georgia and SC or are those already taken by Kentucky?? Worst Idea ever no one would Chose to play UK or Florida twice. Maybe the SEC choses for you then VU will play T A&M, UK, UF, Mizzou, and Miss State twice next year due to Stallings comment on scheduling. The former East teams are screwed by having to play each other twice this year anyways. Even the schedule guy is confused by it he said there would be no divisions and then mentioned them in the process. BTW a 4-1-8 is a horrible idea who would want to play UK twice every year forever?Just rotate 3 teams and keep 2 rivals. Is it just me or does the SEC logo look bad with 14 flags.

@FallsChurchDore And I agree.... eventually it could be a 9 game schedule as that gives more inventory for both the networks and the SEC network. Both would add $$$$

As far as #2 goes, what do you think about 3 "rivals" per team and the other 5 games rotate out each year. Every other year you play every SEC team, alternating home/away every other time you play.

What do the networks think about a nine-game schedule, and how much are they willing to pony up for that and the addition of A&M and Missouri? If Templeton is that concerned about what the networks want, then I don't see how he can categorically say that the SEC is guaranteed to stick with an 8-game schedule.
