They are one injury away from NIT or a losing record. Without Ezeli they were pathetic in the pre-SEC schedule. The commitee will see A&M and Missouri as SEC teams on selection sunday UK and UF are sure things and the SEC rarely gets more than 4 in.

I’d say winning the Gatorade National Player of the Year gives him claim to that title. But the top players from Scout, Rivals, 247, and ESPNU could claim that, too.

Point is, Beal was a five-star recruit who was recognized as the nation’s top high school player.
