5. Carolina fell to 1-6 in the SEC with last night’s loss and Kentucky comes to town next. Uh-oh.

7. This columnist says Derek Dooley’s fate will depend on wins, not recruiting rankings.

8. Vanderbilt’s 2012 signing class should bolster the team’s lines.
