One of the nation’s top receiver prospects — Bralon Addison — has backed out on his commitment to Texas A&M and chosen Oregon instead. With the new soft 25-man signing cap in the SEC, that kind of loss hurts more than it would have in years past. No longer can a school send out 30 Letters of Intent in the hopes of getting 25-28 signed. So when A&M or another school loses a player on signing day, it hurts just a little bit more.
