A&M Joins Mizzou With Bad Rap Video

Back in January, we poked a little fun at this rap video put together by a few Missouri students. Seeing as how most fans have very little sense of humor when it comes to be ribbed, the reaction from Tiger fans was loud and swift — we were meanies for linking to a harmless video. Apparently making fun of “white guys rapping” even made us racist in some folks’ view (despite the fact that the entire rap world has a distate for most caucasion-rappers not named Eminem or The Beastie Boys).

At any rate, why not equal things out and tick off a few Texas A&M folks today? (Actually, here’s hoping they show a bit more sense of humor about these kinds of things.)

Yes, some A&M fans have put together their own video for a rap song called “Aggie Swag.” Enjoy.

As an Ag class of '00 I'm impressed. It was much better than I first feared. Just good fun, but no mention of the Corps? Aggieband? Bonfire? I'll live. Good job.

We definitely have a sense of humor about these things...and we must to have this out there! ha. I have been wanting to join the SEC since 1994 when it was first mentioned, and I am still bitter that Ann Richards messed it up back then. How different the last years would have been for us! Ugh...moving on... I can hardly wait until it is official. Thanks Mr. Sec for adding our page early!

Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '78 here, and though I detest rap, I've got to say that this was pretty impressive. He got most of the traditions and a lot of the Aggie vernacular in there. Kudos.

By the looks of the video below it looks like "white people" rap videos are not new to the SEC. I can't decide if its worse when a college student does it or grown adults.
