@Statesman We’ll start with your first sentence, which was phrased like a question but ended in a period. Your lack of grammatical prowess indicates that your name “Statesman” probably refers to a degree from Mississippi State. So, MSU fan, let’s take this moronic statement:

Obviously everything was not kosher since he had a 25-year old employee on the back of his bike, and his affair was about to be uncovered.

How do you know about King & Petrino’s relationship? You’re a State fan. King is Petrino’s on-field security officer; he doesn’t spend much time with the coach off the football field, so logically he wouldn’t know Dorrell unless they happened to be in the same place.

Again, you know Dorrell did not have bruises? YOU’VE SEEN HER NAKED TOO? My goodness, this women is a harlot. King noted that she had no major injuries that needed treatment, but he had no way of knowing if she was bruised or not. Petrino’s face rash came from contact with the road, it’s possible that she fell off the bike into the ditch and was bruised but not scraped.

And what would Dorrell not being on the bike at the time of the accident prove? How does that amount to a coverup? What kind of conspiracy is it if the women supposedly in the affair is actually NOT having an affair?

@omahahog I have been to fayetteville, and you are indeed correct that there are many attractive women there. That said she arrived in Fayetteville almost a decade ago, and she is 6 feet tall. Women that tall generally tend to stand out as they are well above the normal height range for women. While she was recently on the football staff, she worked on the donor side previously. I have dealt with theses folks at several different D 1 schools and while these staffs are small, they are generally well known because of who they deal with and come in contact with during their duties.

While I admit my demeanor may have been cynical, it was based on many years observations on folks with these kinds of jobs. More importantly it was intended to reinforce my disbelief that a cop close to the program on gameday would not recognize such an individual as due to the nature of their job they would probably are cleared to be in areas where he is doing his job. Having been around such folks before at other schools the cops so assigned know who these folks are and allow them unfettered access to secure areas. Throw in the fact that she was that tall, and easier to spot in a crowd, and it adds to my disbelief.

Again, just being added to the football staff the previous week did not account for my comment as much as the 4 year letter winner and previous job with the donor staff at the University of Arkansas. Quit concentrating on her current job and focus on her former job, and tell me you would not be more cynical of the issues at hand.

Sounds like a cover-up, and the police are in CYA-mode. Did King mention that he was about to escort a fugitive but dropped that to go see Petrino. The cops participating in a cover-up would add a different dynamic. If everything was kosher why did Petrino thinking that he had a broken neck asked not to call 911, but King instead. King & Petrino are close, and if this previous relationship existed are we to believe that King never met her, (Arkansas logic). EMS would have filed a correct report. Even with a helmet Dorrell would have bruises. In Arkansas it is all a fantasy

@FallsChurchDore Who knows? Most of his facial injuries were from coming in contact with the road (ouch!) so she may have avoided hitting the road and just happened to not have injured a muscle or vertebra. It’s certainly a mystery.

Contrary to what you may believe about Arkansas there are a lot of attractive blonde women around campus and the NWA area. While attractive, Dorrell is no super model with a glowing aura surrounding her as she walks around.

The odd thing that screams here is there is no mention of alcohol. Police are obsessed with alcohol related accidents. Why did King not say whether alcohol was or was not a factor? Things that make you go hum!

If Ms. Dorrell was on the motorcycle at the time of the accident, how on earth did she come out of that uninjured? Petrino looked like he’d been through 10 rounds with Mike Tyson, circa 1980s, but you’re telling me that she didn’t have a scratch?

Capt King was NOT part of any “inner sanctum”, he clearly stated that he only worked football games on the sideline. Believe what you want to believe. If you are a male, are you seriously telling me you would not have noticed once in 5 + years? Remember cops have the powers of observation as a basic part of their job description. Again, you expect me to believe a male cop missed never noticing a 6 foot tall blonde amazon woman in the inner sanctum (sports, donors, and football) of a small state school?
