John–Now don’t you be hatin’ on that there Belk Bowl. I managed to get my girlfriend to watch college football because of it (OK, it was so she could see the Belk commercials–it’s her favorite place to shop). ;P

Pretty underhanded if you ask me. There’s going to be a time (hopefully soon) when UT will be on top again, and the good folks at Chik Fil A are begging them to come back. When that day comes, I hope they tell them to go pound sand, and then turn around and accept an invite to the game in Dallas.

Although I’m not drinking the Doolaide either and believe that if we don’t win at least 8 this year he will be out, I believe this years team with the experience they are bringing back and an extra year of strength and conditioning that we will see a big difference between this years team and last years. Will it result in more wins? Only time will tell. Go Vols!

@poooooook You’re right about a new low, but if UT loses to NCSU I think the wheels will fall off and Dooley won’t make the season. Tennessee will fill up the Georgia Dome has we always have in the past for SEC Championship Games and Chick-fil-A Bowls, but we get bumped to the equivalent of Lifetime because we’re just not relevant right now. Depressing.

Tennessee sinks to a new low. If they lose to NCSU, Dooley will be fired before the end of the season.
