We'll learn a lot about this team very early. If we can go into College Station and get a win, we could win 9-10 games (optimistically). Our defense will keep us in a lot of games and with a stronger O-line, stronger RBs (not taking anything away from Demps and Rainey, they just didn't have the size), and more experienced WR/TEs we could definitely win the East. A lot of it will come down to the QBs, both looked promising this Spring under Pease but their true leadership skills will show the second weekend of the season at A&M.

I feel pretty good about UF moving forward. If the offense can upgrade from "dumpster fire" to "mediocre/middle of the road", UF can compete for the EAST. UF held Auburn and S Carolina to 17 last year. A half way effective offense wins those games (don't even mention Rainey's 3 fumbled punts on the plains). It took 2 UF turnovers inside the 25 and UGA converting on 2 4th down jump balls in the endzone to muster a 24-20 win in Jacksonville. A very stout D coupled with an offense that limits turnovers and is efficient in the redzone could land Muschamps 9 Ws next year.
