Tyann Mathieu is overrated as a corner, there is no doubt he belongs there for special teams, but the starting corner for the SEC? There are several corners ahead of him that can shut down their side of the field, while Mathieu can only shut down the SHORT side of the field. He is fast enough to cover deep down field, but his height was a major issue in the title game, as was jumping, timing, and severely struggled on man on man coverage. I can think of several corners that are better on the same side of the field, much less both sides. Mathieu’s skills were also quieted on special teams against the tougher competition. All in all, he has been overrated since day one, and all this year will show is how much so…

Mizzou fans are used to it. Every year we see aTm’s players and team ranked ahead of us. And every year we beat them or finish ahead of them in conference and the polls.

Arkansas had a total of 10 players. Three on third team instead of two and three on special teams instead of two.
