Running back Altee Tenpenny from North Little Rock, Ark., plans to take all five of his official visits this fall to help decide if Alabama is the right school for him.
“With Alabama, I’m 99 percent solid,” Tenpenny told 247Sports. “The one percent is just the recruiting process, since you know anything can happen. I want to take all my visits and just enjoy it.”
Those visits will be to Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Notre Dame and a “toss up” school, most likely Auburn or Vanderbilt.
“I mean, they’re great schools, and I just want to see what they have to offer,” said Tenpenny, who’s considered the nation’s fourth-best running back by 247Sports.
Tenpenny is one of two running backs committed to Alabama’s 2013 class, joining Tyren Jones from Walton High School in Marietta, Ga.
The Crimson Tide has continued to recruit other 2013 running backs, including Derrick Green from Richmond, Va., Derrick Henry from Yulee, Fla., and Alvin Kamara from Norcross, Ga.
