Alabama linebacker commit Reuben Foster from Auburn (Ala.) High School will hold a press conference at his school on Thursday at 3 p.m. eastern time.
Foster will have an announcement concerning his recruitment, according to 247Sports.
Foster said in the last week he’s “100 percent” committed to Alabama. But he followed up that statement with an unofficial visit to Washington, and Auburn and Georgia have continued to be linked to Foster’s recruitment.
Naturally, skepticism has surrounded the strength of Foster’s commitment to Alabama.

Foster, who’s ranked the nation’s No. 1 inside linebacker by 247Sports, has shown strong interest in Georgia. He’s visited Athens twice in the last month.
Foster returned from his most recent trip promising he would attend the same school as Newnan, Ga., safety Tray Matthews, who’s committed to Georgia.
“Me and Tray are going to play together – 100 percent – in college,” Foster told 247Sports on July 2.
Matthews added to the speculation last week when he discussed playing at the same school as Foster, along with Norcross, Ga., uncommitted running back Alvin Kamara and Tyrone, Ga., cornerback Shaq Wiggins, who’s committed to Georgia.
“We (Matthews and Foster) both decided on a school and we are the only two that know,” Matthews told ESPN RecruitingNation on July 3. “A couple of people are not going to like the decision, but we have to do what is best for us.
“Alvin Kamara and Shaq Wiggins are going to as well. I can promise you Shaq is going to go wherever I go.”
Georgia fans hope that school will be in Athens.
But Auburn fans might have reason to feel confident Foster will make a switch to the Tigers. After all, it was an Auburn website that broke the news of Foster’s upcoming announcement.

If Foster switches his commitment to Auburn, could Matthews really join Foster on The Plains? Matthews likes Auburn, but his mother doesn’t.
“My mom will support me wherever I go, but she would be very disappointed if I went to Auburn instead of Georgia,” Matthews told ESPN.
One thing is clear: No matter the announcement from Foster on Thursday, speculation will continue to follow his recruitment until he officially lands on a campus.
