I think he really lacks heart, motivation….he’s had it easy at lsu with a great team the last few years…he’s the type of player that when things get tough he will quit…he’s not a nfl starting cb, possible nickle packages or special teams but thats it…decent speed…to small to have an inpact in the nfl…

ESPN ran an interesting story on Matthieu recently that gave me the impression that Matthieu’s act was wearing a little thin at LSU. I suppose LSU was already aware that the hammer was about to come down when it was written. With a real shot at the MNC this year, I can’t imagine Miles would want him hanging around, distracting guys from the job at hand.

i believe in multiple chances, but failing drug test at a D1 SEC school is like failing a take home exam. Then failing them enough to where you are thrown out is pretty inexcusable.
I say sure give him another chance but make him work somewhere else for it, he got knocked down he should have to work his way back up to the top.
