Guard Sindarius Thornwell from Oak Hill Academy has narrowed his list of schools to South Carolina and North Carolina State.
Thornwell told TheBigSpur.com of his decision after visiting South Carolina this past weekend.
“Everything went real good,” Thornwell said. “We got down there and watched practice and talked with the coaches. Then we went over and watched the football game, which was pretty cool and a great game. It was really intense.”
Thornwell originally planned to sign with a school in the spring but has since decided to make it official this fall. He will visit his finalists again before he makes a final decision.
“I will go to North Carolina State the weekend of October 12 and then I have not set anything up with South Carolina but will probably go there on Oct 19,” he said.
Basketball prospects will be permitted to sign the national letter of intent between Nov. 14 and Nov. 21.
