@bpa_kc I agree that it’s over, he manned up and apologized so it’s time to let it go. I disagree though that people would be offended if the shoe was on the other foot. We understand the concept of irony.

@buddha22 What the H-E-Double Hockey Stick are you talking about? Georgia players are trained not to engage in trash talk leading up to an opponent. That’s SOP to not give anyone extra bulletin board material. Most SEC schools operate the same way. What specifically are you referring to? If anyone loves to talk smack, it’s that D-Bag receiver, TJ Moe, who described the entire league outside of Bama and LSU as “kind of average” and then was later dismissive about the impact of Richardson’s comments. Sure buddha, sounds like Pinkel really hates that smack talk.

That kid is a BEAST. I can’t remember a defensive player causing that much havoc on my Mizzou Tigers’ offense ever (not even Suh).

Also, do we have to keep beating a dead horse with Richardson?? He ate a big fat crow sandwich with a side of humble pie on Saturday. He not only apologized to Richt in person for his stupid comments… but had to listen to Georgia fans chant “old man football” after the loss… which btw… I thought was really appropriate and funny… albeit if the shoe was on the other foot, I’m sure everyone else around here would be greatly offended by this lack of respect.

Sheldon had a pretty good day and he acted like the man he is by finding Richt and apologizing. HCGP hates the smack talk and has let Sheldon know in no uncertain terms. He’s not available to the press and I understand won’t be for at least the rest of September. Sorry that you’ve been so offended but I have to laugh, you guys sure love to talk the smack but are awfully touchy when it comes back your way!

@mitchs3 He apologized to Richt? Good for him. Also, don’t be too hard on Pinkel for that trick play call. In watching game film, he probably noticed that Georgia got burned pretty badly a couple times last year on fake punts.

Jones was amazing, Mizzou couldn’t contain him – obviously. Awards well deserved. Mizzou needed to take advantage of opportunities when they were there to win this game, and obviously didn’t (HOW does Marcus Lucas not catch that ball at the end of the first half!), not turn the ball over (fail) and not do stupid stuff (I know what you were trying to do Gary, but don’t call the fake there; not down 4 in the 3rd qtr!).

It’s time to give the Richardson stuff a rest – he has been appropriately muzzled by Pinkel, and apologized to Richt after the game. It’s over.

Jarvis Jones was an absolute beast out there. Considering the suspensions of four other starters including Rambo and Ogletree, it’s even more impressive since he was going to be gameplanned around on almost every play. This gift from USC just keeps on giving.

I’m also guessing Richardson will be fairly quiet leading into the Columbia cup next week.
