i would like to see sec schools go to crap weather games up north in december seattle ,east lansing,lincoln.that is why sec fight a true playoff going on the road to those crap weather places against a good team may not be a good thing,kind of like nobody wants to go to green bay in jan .

get a true playoff so 1 loss is not a excuse to put 2 SEC teams in national title game.look at college hoops early losses mean jack ,you still can win the title same thing in 1-AA football.funny southren schools do not dominate the 1-AA playoffs with crumbs and transfers from SEC schools. a 16 game playoff , i suspect would be the same the best teams winning the title not hype and espn bs putting teams from sec in title game.college football fans would start to revolt against that mess

I’m keeping my eye on Notre Dame, i see them being the haters next great hope.
here is my worry if Oregon, Florida state and Notre Dame all go undefeated and some how South Carolina beat Alabama at the SECCG. will they still get the pass to go to the NC?

What do you think would happen for the BCS Championship game if Alabama went undefeated, LSU had one loss, Oregon had one loss and Florida State had one loss? Seems to me based soley on schedule, it would be Alabama v. LSU. However, given the SEC backlash/fatigue you have written about, voters may try had to make it Alabama v. Florida State or Oregon.

Obviously, we realize that point. But the SEC is the only league that’s likely to have one unbeaten and one one-loss team AND the reputation among the computers and voters to land both of those teams in the BCS title game.

Losing to Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama or LSU — as we stand here today — won’t be as big a rankings drain on a team as losing to a team like Washington that was clobbered by 38 points (by one of the aforementioned SEC squads).

We’re going to have teams beat each other as well. The upset no doubt helps the sec. We also have several sec games that feature the teams mentioned above. It’s just a matter of when/how the sec teams in the top beat each other.

LSU/BAMA
LSU/SCAR
UF/LSU
UF/SCAR
SEC Championship

Who really knows….only time will tell…
