An FYI to everyone...

As we state clearly in the piece above, we don't rank the teams 1-14 because everyone else does that. We want to be different. So we break them into four categories based on what we've seen from each team, how they're currently playing, and where we think they'll finish the season based on those first two criteria. Changes from week to week.

More importantly, inside those categories, we list teams alphabetically. I'm always amazed at how many people send me an angry email or post an insulting comment because we have Auburn listed beneath Arkansas when pretty clearly -- if you actually read what we've written -- it's alphabetical: Ar before Au.

What's more important is that we ask that you please not use the comment boxes we provide to link to your own websites. We don't do that to other folks' sites and we'd just as soon someone not use our daily work as a launching pad for their own sports coverage. (Especially if they're one of the ones ripping us because they failed to read the piece above.)

We appreciate folks reading and commenting... we just prefer they read the whole thing before commenting... and that they don't give themselves free plugs in their comments.

Many thanks to all for visiting the site,
John

I think you are right on with Mizzou. We absolutely positively must split the next 4 games. Then --- where will the last win come from? We play Tenn and A&M on the road. We play Syracuse at home. So, it lok sto me like Syracuse is the must win game here.
