The early starts are terrible. The late, late starts are pretty bad too unless you’re home watching teams from the West coast.

Personally, I’m a little confused why all these games are so bunched up. Primetime games are good and all, but you can only watch so many games at one time. Combine that with some other decent primetime games around the country and it would seem ESPN is reducing their potential audience per game. Spread them out a little.

I love the 5 and 8 pmct slots and would take it 100 out of 100 times. The 11 and 1121am ct are only good for teams other than yours.

Vandy has had 2 games on CBS in 20 years and Mizzou has that many in 1/2 a year.

I dunno. I much prefer night games in August, September, and early October down here in Texas. Its much better for everyone at the game to not have to deal with 100 degree heat for 4 hours.

Before noon starts are the worst, totally destroys the gameday atmosphere. At least with a 9pm start (which still sucks beyond measure), you KNOW its going to be a very, very long day and plan accordingly. You show up, get good parking, walk about, see the sights, go to a bunch of tailgate partie (have lunch AND dinner), go to the game, suck down coffee at half time and make sure your assistant drivers keep you awake on the ride home (or just do the hotel thing, and get home Sunday morning). Before noon, you are up early, get to parking, miss the tailgates (I mean, who tailgates for breakfast and then the game), you rush to the game, and you still have to drive in the dark to get home.

Its not too bad in Gainesville, my ride home is only about 3 hours and most of it is on open freeway. But if I was flying in and out, that would suck.
