Five SEC teams can already make their plans for Saturday, October the 20th. The other six teams in action will have to wait a bit longer to find out when they’ll be playing.
The SEC announced today that CBS has chosen to use its six-day option for picking the next weekend’s game (that’d be “Saturday-week,” for you Deep South readers). Depending on this weekend’s results, CBS will tab either South Carolina at Florida, Alabama at Tennessee or LSU at Texas A&M as its 3:30pm ET game of the week.
The two games not picked up by CBS will air on ESPN… one kicking off at noon ET and the other kicking off between 7:00 and 7:45pm ET.
With that in mind, here are the three games that are already set for the weekend of the 20th:
Auburn at Vanderbilt — 12:21pm ET on SEC Network
Georgia at Kentucky — 7:00pm ET on ESPN2 or ESPNU or FSN
MTSU at Mississippi State — 7:00pm ET on ESPN2 or ESPNU or FSN
So basically, only Auburn and Vandy fans really know when and where they can catch their teams on television on the 20th.
