There’s more bad news for the Kentucky football program this afternoon. Wildcat running back CoShik Williams has seen his senior season come to an end after an MRI revealed a torn labrum in his hip. According to UK’s official website, Williams will undergo surgery “as soon as possible.”
The fifth-year senior started Kentucky’s final five games last season and earned a place in UK lore by scoring the game-winning touchdown last year in the Cats’ first victory over Tennessee since 1984. This year, injuries limited him to just 66 yards.
Joker Phillips said of the former walk-on: “He’s out after playing a game and 14 plays.”
