@djrockytop Problem with getting Strong is that a) unlike most schools, Louisville has prohibited other schools from speaking to Strong – A&M last year tried and got shut down by Louisville administration b) Louisville has already stated that they’ll increase Strong’s pay to match anyone who comes knocking, including making him the highest paid coach in FBS.

Hart at UT is like Long at Ark. Both guys are in over their head and need to be fired and replaced by a real AD who has a clue on how to do the job.

@bvkv09 I’m not keen on Golden either. I’m completely against Petrino. I don’t think Fisher or either of the Oklahoma coaches are interested. Gary Patterson, he’s in a BCS conference and can essentially write his own ticket at that university (though I thought the same for Fulmer until old “highlights” canned him). My list would go – Gruden, Strong, Fulmer (yes, you read that correct). I’m also not interested in hearing about any coach that just got fired.

WREG News Channel 3 is the “trash” news station in Memphis.
It has been sued a ton of times of taking the “quick & easy/low brow” approach to news.
WREG also reported a few years back that M~State would hire Derek Dooley from La. Tech to replace Sly Croom.
IT NEVER HAPPENED, Dooley was never considered, nor interviewed, or sought out/contacted. WREG IS TRASH NEWS. That is the only way they can keep their name around. – Heath Hopkins of HEATH HOPKINS MEDIA NEWTWORK

@djrockytop I think because Strong loss two games in a row to weaker teams that it would be a tough sell. I personally think that he is a pretty darn good football coach, but I am not sure that he is going to get support here. The one name that kills me is Al Golden. There is absolutely no way that his name should be on any list. None.
