The word today is Georgia Tech has been approved by the BIG Ten conference as number 15 and could be official as early as Monday. Acc Champ. game on saturday, would make it wait until Monday at least. If that does become official, you figure the BIG Ten will go for 16. Unless they try and wait and see if the SEC would move in and cause Notre Dame to go full time in a conference. I know the BIG has wanted Notre Dame for a long time and it wouldn't shock me if that ends up being the case.

Is the next forced move 16 teams? 18?
It's implausible that the SEC or Big 10 are plucked from. Big 12 will likely only expand, unless the Pac 12 feels the pressure to expand to 14/16.
This leaves the ACC as the conference that will be torn apart likes sharks in a feeding frenzy.

First question if SEC/Big 10 go to 16 will that FORCE Notre Dame to jump in with the Big 10 or are they more Big 12?

With all the schools that are coming into the ACC, what do they rank in value added to other conferences?
