SEC News and views are coming soon, but first, here’s your morning inspiration by way of the great Taj Mahal (doing a great bluesy cover of a great, classic song by the forever great Otis Redding). And if you haven’t figure it out by now, yes, my iPod is 90% blues.

You have good taste in music. I know it's pretty far off topic, but once--just once--I'd love for you to post your favorite singers, albums, and/or songs. If you're a blues fan, you could probably make it southern-themed since most blues singers are from the south. Either way, I would enjoy a one-time break from SEC sports to read your thoughts on music.
Sorry for the slow response, but I'll try to find a way to fit something like this in at some point. The next time I have an absolute favorite artist or song pop up... I'll drop in a Top 5 or Top 10 list for you.
Early tip: Robert Cray's "Smokin' Gun," Howlin' Wolf's "Spoonful," and Koko Taylor's version of "Wang Dang Doodle" are all gonna rank pretty darn high (just off the top of my head).
