From a business standpoint, i don't see how UT can keep Dooley. Sure a buyout will put a squeeze on the athletic budget but the Athletic Department will likely lose money again next year, and every year thereafter, if their cash cow fails to draw a near full house. Every dollar the football team fails to take in is a dollar that cannot be used to finance non-revenue sports. Personally, I think the ROI on a buyout is a no-brainer.
